What Is Sailor Loot?
Sailor Loot is Virgin Voyages’ onboard credit system. It works just like digital spending money loaded onto your account, ready to use across the ship. Whenever you make a purchase, your Sailor Loot is used automatically before your card on file.
It’s one of the simplest ways to enhance your voyage, especially if you enjoy onboard extras such as spa time, premium drinks, shore things, or unique Virgin Voyages experiences.
What Can Sailor Loot Be Spent On?
Sailor Loot is widely accepted across the ship and can be used for:
- Premium drinks (cocktails, wines, speciality coffees)
- Spa treatments and Thermal Suite access
- Shopping and merchandise
- Shore Things (excursions)
- Fitness classes and paid activities
- Tattoos and piercings at Squid Ink
- Casino play
It’s an incredibly flexible way to enjoy more of the Virgin Voyages experience.
What Sailor Loot Cannot Be Used For
Sailor Loot is extremely flexible, but it does not apply to:

How do I get Sailor Loot?
You can earn Sailor Loot through booking promotions, Wave Season offers, My Next Virgin Voyage (MNVV), loyalty rewards, group bookings, and certain First Mate (travel advisor) bonuses.
What can Sailor Loot be spent on?
You can use Sailor Loot for drinks, cocktails, speciality coffee, spa treatments, Shore Things, retail shopping, casino play, paid fitness classes, tattoos, and Wi‑Fi upgrades.
Will Sailor Loot be used automatically?
Yes - Sailor Loot always gets used first. Whenever you tap your Band to buy something, the system automatically deducts from your Sailor Loot before using your payment card.
Can Sailor Loot be combined with a Bar Tab?
Yes - both work together. Your Bar Tab is always applied first, and any remaining amount rolls onto your Sailor Loot or payment method if needed.
Does Sailor Loot expire?
Yes - any unused Sailor Loot expires at the end of your voyage. It does not roll over to future sailings. This includes back2back sailings each voyage is treated independently
Can I use Sailor Loot for tips?
Yes - Sailor Loot can be used for optional gratuities, spa tips, casino dealer tips and other paid‑service gratuities onboard.
Can Sailor Loot be used at The Beach Club at Bimini?
Yes - Sailor Loot works at bars, dining upgrades and retail experiences at The Beach Club at Bimini during eligible itineraries.
Can I buy Sailor Loot before my voyage?
No - Sailor Loot isn’t something you buy. It is only awarded through promotions, loyalty perks or booking incentives, such as booking with Daniel your Gold Rated First Mate.
Is Sailor Loot refundable?
No - Sailor Loot is non‑refundable and must be used during your sailing. Any unused balance is forfeited at disembarkation.
